Even though a typically blustery Chicago day tried to dampen the mood outside, Lauren and Aaron’s connection radiated warmth and light throughout their engagement session at the breathtaking Garfield Park Conservatory. Stepping into that tropical oasis felt like entering their own vibrant world, a perfect reflection of the joy and excitement they share as they plan their July wedding right here in our amazing city. The conservatory never loses it’s beauty, I have been here so many times with my kids, exploring this space especially with a beautiful couple to photograph was so much fun. My favorite is the cactus house. There is something about the greens of the cactus and the background paint that I love. Getting to take photographs here in the beautiful space is so cool.

Seriously buzzing for Lauren + Aaron’s wedding this July in Chicago! Getting to hang out with them during their engagement and see their amazing connection bloom has been such a blast. Now, the thought of capturing all the wedding day magic – the happy tears, the first dance swoons, the party vibes – has me practically doing a little happy dance! I’m just so thrilled to be the one to document their “happily ever after” getting started in the middle of a gorgeous Chicago summer.
