Riverside IL Best Newborn Photographer | Auggie

Finding the Riverside IL best newborn photographer for your growing family is about more than just finding someone with a camera; it’s about finding an artist who understands the quiet, beautiful chaos of those first few weeks. As a lifestyle photographer, I believe the best place to capture these fleeting moments is right where you feel most comfortable: at home. This recent session in Riverside was the perfect example of why in-home lifestyle photography is so special.

I absolutely love including a newborn session with my birth photography packages. Specifically, it feels so right to see my wonderful birth families again as they settle in as a new unit. Babies change you forever; in fact, it often feels like your life was simply missing them before they arrived.

A Heartfelt Riverside IL Newborn Session

This little baby is incredibly lucky to have such a kind family. For example, his big brothers are so sweet and gentle with him. I truly cannot rave enough about this entire group! From our very first interaction—which was a 11:00 PM inquiry email—I knew they were special. Sarah set the bar so high with her kindness, and consequently, I’ll be rooting for this family for a lifetime.

As a Riverside IL best newborn photographer, I aim for sessions that feel completely effortless. Even though this 9lb baby boy was already changing rapidly from his actual birth day, we captured his essence perfectly. Because these days are so fleeting, I always encourage my parents to find ways to slow down.

Taking a “Mental Picture” of Your Newborn

My daughter used to say she was taking a “mental picture.” She would blink her eyes and shut them tight so the memory was forever engrained in her brain. Similarly, I ask all my parents to do this. While professional photographs are vital for your legacy, you should also take moments to sit without distractions.

Specifically, try to memorize the smells and the textures of your baby’s skin. If you blink your eyes tight while holding them, you can freeze that feeling in time. As a result, you’ll have both the digital memories and the heart-memories. It truly goes by in the blink of an eye! Ultimately, I hope I did their beautiful love justice with these images. As a Chicago Newborn photographer some families are so special to me.
