The greens peeked through just in time for this Spring time maternity session in Chicago. I have worked with this beautiful family before and it was amazing to see how much bigger big brother to- be had gotten. To get to take these images of them celebrating another big moment in their lives. Baby number 2.
And even though the rain wanted to make this session difficult, we persevered. We ended up with some beautiful shots of the bump and the 3 of them embracing and loving each other. Toddler brother was adventurous and so busy! he was tremendously smart and he allowed me to speak Spanish to him the whole time. He called me Señorita, it was the cutest thing ever.
This locations is one of my favorites, for many reasons but a big one is truly the gathering of bird people! The bird watchers. I Neve quite understood why someone would want to just see something. But it’s something remarkable. To just admire, without reciprocity of anything. Maybe life is just about that.
