WHEN DEATH
TAKES MY HAND
I WILL HOLD YOU WITH THE OTHER
AND PROMISE TO FIND YOU
IN EVERY LIFETIME
RUPI KAUR \
Love oh love, you are my greatest mystery. I feel like I’ve been running to it and away from it my whole life. Watching the people I care about fall into love, fall into marriage and start their own families is absolutely beautiful. I am learning to pay attention to how they are loved, to how they love. Being a witness to love is something different. Of course this jobs gives me first dibs on love all of the time, it has it’s perks. Kae + Jordan recently began their story, K is my youngest siblings and they’ve watched me struggle through love and I have watched them as well. We come from the same story, them and I. I am at the start of my new story of self love, they seem to have a lot more experience with that even being eight years younger.
I want to wish Kae + Jordan a lifetime of feeling seen, loved, and understood. I want to wish them growth and tenderness. I have no advice to give, because the only thing I know is that I know nothing. But I am so excited to welcome Jordan into our lives. He is so kind and loves Kae extremely well. Cheers to mofo LOVE.
