Ashley and Jake trolley wedding in Chicago IL

I love Love. Being in love and caring about someone so deeply is one of the bravest things we can do as a humans. It is the way it feels to love someone, it is the way you think about them. Love is something we all have in common, it pushes us forward, it sets us on fire. To love is to risk losing it all. To love is to hurt and feel pain. Poems all through centuries have been inspired by love or lack of love. Capturing love is so special. Long time lovers of 12 years Jake + Ashley decided it was time to unify their love in front of their family and friends. The beautiful way in which they decided to celebrate themselves was just so them and so cool. I love non traditional things.

Their celebration was tailored to them and their uniqueness. We started the day on their roof top in Chicago, headed to city hall, a quick stop at City Social restaurant for a drink post nuptials. We then hopped in a trolley with all of their loved ones on our way to some portraits by the Art institute of chicago south garden. Finishing the day with dinner at Funkenhausen in West Town. A lovely celebration through and through.
