It’s been a hell of a rollercoaster of emotions on the road to this wedding, I’m sure. Having to push back dates and planning, just seems incredibly overwhelming. But at last! THEY MADE IT! The day started in the bride’s childhood home in Aurora IL. I and my amazing second shooter (Jessica Rasmussen) captured the early start of getting ready. Captuing details is a favorite of mine, I loved the blue shoes the bride chose to wear. One of my favorite things were the amount of dogs that are absolutely a part of the family. Tito wasn’t a fan of me, but I’m gonna blame that on my camera. That thing can be intimidating. After some getting ready portraits we headed to the venue at Company 251 in Downtown Aurora. It was a gorgeous backdrop for all of the love this family has to share. A beautiful voice sang as the bride made her way doown the isle as her dad walked next to her. Tears started pouring, and Bob became overwhelmed. They restated their handwritten vows they shared on this day . & once again recommited themselves to a life of love and friendship. The party started soon after and I watched some grownups really throwdown on the dance floor. It was a night to remember. I’m so glad to have captured it all for them.
