Art Institute Engagement Session: Modern Romance in Chicago
An Art Institute Engagement Session is the best choice for Chicago elegance. When my couples choose this museum, I know we will have a great morning. This specific session was a dream. Specifically, it mixed the couple’s high-fashion style with the museum’s clean lines. In addition, the architecture provided a perfect backdrop for their love story.

The Best Spots in the Modern Wing
We started the morning on the famous white staircase. For a photographer, the Modern Wing is a playground of light. Indeed, the neutral colors of the museum made the couple’s clothes really stand out. The bride’s sleek white dress was a perfect match for the simple background. Consequently, every photo felt like it belonged in a magazine. Moreover, the soft morning light made the marble stairs glow. Because of this light, we captured some of my favorite shots of the day.

Why I Love Museum Galleries
After we took those big shots, we moved into the galleries. A morning at the museum is very quiet if you arrive early. Furthermore, standing near old paintings reminds us that love lasts forever. We shared quiet laughs near the art. Therefore, we created a beautiful mix of the old world and the new. Similarly, the intimate atmosphere allowed for very natural posing.

How to Plan Your Art Institute Engagement Session
If you are planning your own session, keep a few things in mind. First, many people think you need a photography permit. In fact, you do not need a permit at all. You just pay the normal entry fee. Due to this policy, the museum is a very easy place to take photos.
Second, I always suggest a weekday morning. This is the best way to miss the crowds. As a Chicago photographer, I can help you find the best quiet spots. However, the results are always worth it. These images are more than just photos. Rather, they are pieces of art. In conclusion, thank you to this amazing couple for letting me capture their love.
