Sometimes the most lovely sessions happen in the bitter cold. I recently had the honor of photographing this beautiful extended family at the historic Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook, Illinois. While I wish it had been five degrees warmer, their love comes through so clearly in these images against the stunning architecture. Capturing Multi-Generational Connection

Extended family sessions are truly a gift “for Grandma.” Specifically, they are a chance to see the entire family tree in one frame. When I approach photography in Oak Brook, I look for the quiet, unscripted moments.
