I have been photographing this sweet family since their oldest daughter was still in her mom’s belly. Our first session together was a maternity shoot near Thatcher Woods in River Forest. The call came in around mid-afternoon. Suddenly, everything shifted into focus. Abby’s partner called me to say that labor was progressing fast. Consequently, the adrenaline started pumping. Because I have learned to be ready for anything, I grabbed my gear and left right away. Even though Chicago traffic can be tricky, I made great time to the house.
