As an Orland Park family photographer, I am always looking for beautiful light and open landscapes to tell a family’s story. A few weeks ago, I met the Meha family at 3:30 pm for their session. Why is the timing relevant? Well, if you are a photographer, you know how difficult bright light can be. It is especially challenging with little kiddos! They move fast and stay unpredictable, but I truly love the energy they bring to a shoot.
Most of the space at this location was very open. If you know me, you know that I love a challenge. This beautiful family was such a joy to document. The babies are actually twins! It is so funny to me how genes work. I loved seeing how unique and unlike each other they actually were during our time together.

The Meha family was absolutely stunning, as you can clearly see from the photos. The babies are twins, and it is so fascinating to see how genetics work; it’s wild how unique each of them is compared to the other! I really enjoyed getting to know them during our time together. Twins actually run in both sides of the mom’s family, so it was definitely written in the stars for her to be a twin mom.

The Experience of Working as an Orland Park Family Photographer
They arrived looking so sharp, and I am honestly so in love with these images. There is something about wide-open spaces that really lets the connection between a family shine. I especially loved the beautiful blue sky contrasting against the scenery; it created the perfect backdrop for our session.
As a Chicago Family Photographer Capturing these candid, unposed moments is what I love most about my work. I hope the Meha family treasures these memories for years to come.
