Documenting Chicagoland-From the Western Suburbs to the Lakeshore and Everywhere In Between

Across the many miles near me my Areas served Chicagoland as a Photographer are vast. I live in Forest Park. I grew up moving around, but this corner of the west suburbs is where I planted myself, where my kids and I walk. Where I know which coffee shop has the best light at 8am and which park goes golden at 5pm in October. That rootedness matters, because when I show up to photograph your family, I’m not a vendor passing through. I’m a neighbor who happens to carry a camera. I am an avid city explorer, so I feel like I know all the best spots. Without bragging. Capturing families in this city is my favorite and exploring it my second. Although, I may never have the title of Chicagoan (booo! mom and dad, ha.. we came from Mexico to the West Suburbs) I have loved this city and have explored every neighborhood nook and cranny.

The Adri Photo Co. serves families, couples, and new parents throughout the greater Chicago area. Whether you’re in a bungalow in Oak Park, a high-rise in the Gold Coast, or a backyard in Elmhurst. I travel to you. My job isn’t to plop your family in front of a landmark and tell you to smile. It’s to find the light, the texture, and the rhythm of wherever you actually live and let your story unfold there.

Here’s the Areas served in Chicagoland as a Photographer where I work :

WESTERN SUBURBS

This is my territory. The western suburbs are where I know the side streets, the forest preserve pockets, and the exact spots where afternoon light hits brick in a way that makes everything look like a painting. Oak Park’s architecture, River Forest’s canopy streets, the quiet of a La Grange morning. I’ve photographed in all of it and I’m always finding something new.

NORTHSHORE

The North Shore has a particular kind of light. Lakeshore mornings, tree-lined streets that turn amber in fall, the kind of neighborhoods that feel like they were built for long Sunday walks. I love photographing families here because the locations do half the work. Evanston especially has this mix of urban energy and green space that gives us a lot to play with.

CHICAGO NEIGHBORHOODS

Chicago neighborhoods each have their own character. And I mean that literally, not as a tagline. Lincoln Park feels different from Hyde Park. Wicker Park feels different from the Gold Coast. When you book a session in the city, I come ready having researched your neighborhood specifically: where the light lands, what the foot traffic is like, whether we need a permit. You just show up.

On travel: I don’t charge travel fees within the greater Chicagoland area. I handle all location scouting and permit research. You focus on being present. If your family has a spot that’s meaningful to you, tell me about it. Nine times out of ten, that’s where we should be shooting.

Choosing the right location for your session is about more than just a pretty backdrop. In my Areas served, I try to find dynamic locations that are inspiring and suitable for storytelling. It is about finding a place where your family feels at home. Whether we are exploring the historic architecture of River Forest or the quiet, natural trails of the Cook County Forest Preserves, I am here to help you choose a setting that reflects your family’s soul. I travel throughout the western suburbs and the greater Chicago area to ensure your visual legacy is captured in a place that holds meaning for you.

Don’t see your neighborhood listed? I photograph throughout Illinois and am available for travel nationwide for weddings and birth work. If you’re not sure whether I cover your area, just ask — the answer is probably yes.
