As a Chicago Fresh 48 photos I visited Baby Ana Maria and her family at Prentice Women’s Hospital. There is something sacred about those first few hours of life. Consequently, the atmosphere in a hospital room is filled with exhaustion and pure joy. Capturing this transition into motherhood is a favorite part of my work.

Documentary Newborn Portraits at Prentice Women’s Hospital

Prentice Women’s Hospital offers beautiful natural light for a Chicago Fresh 48 photos. The large windows overlooking downtown provide a clean, bright backdrop. This allows the focus to stay entirely on the new baby. Specifically, I love capturing the tiny details. I look for the hospital bassinet, the wrinkled toes, and the way a new sibling looks at their sister. Furthermore, these documentary moments fade the fastest. This makes them the most important memories to preserve for your family legacy..
