“I realized when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.”
― Mitch Albom
I met Lacy at a starbucks with her little family, as they were on the hunt for a photographer. I was honored to have been able to interview with them. From the moment I met her her beautiful positive demeanor just drew me in. We went through our year checking in, I photographed her maternity session, we prepped and got ready for the upcoming birth. The day of the birth unplanned situations occured and she really showed more of her true self. The way she handled the changes were beautiful. I saw a human break down and pick herself up. I saw a partner completely support the love they share, and be there spiriually and physically. & then these photos were two weeks later. Can’t you just feel the radiating love? This sweet baby girl could not be more loved. I love her story! I often think of the times in the future when birth images will be shared, and how inpactful it will be for her, to see the strenght and the love that was shared on the one night in July. Their little union is unbreakable. I cannot wait to see how they evolve, also can we talk about the doting brother. They are just too much !
Birth is powerful, and I am so lucky to be able to capture it. If you’re interested in having your birth photographer click here!

Here back again with this beautiful family. When I met K she was a mom of two and so was I. While I still am a mom of two, she has added two additional beautiful boys since then. I couldn’t tell you how different we are. Once of the things we have in common is our love for our kids. She inspires me to be have more patience and speak with love, and honestly she makes me feel sane. Her family is insanely kind and so stunning. I am so honored to be able to call her a friend. I hope you enjoy her gallery.

It feels like this was the calm after the storm. I captured this little family as they welcomed their baby at home 2 weeks prior to this image. In reality, this is probably the beginning of a new storm, a beautiful one at that. Angela, however, seems fully equipped to deal with the toughest of storms. The way she so calmly gave birth and the way she treats her oldest, I know for sure she is so ready for the new sweet baby girl. This whole family is just inspiring. They welcomed me into their home, and I just felt so incredibly comfortable. They made my job effortless.
Sometimes we get lucky like that! I wish them all the best as they start their new journey as a family of four.

Oh sweet baby!
This family, what can I say, but oh my goodness. I got so lucky in coming across Sarah and her little family, they make me so excited to photograph them every single time they hire me. They are full of love and all that realness. I was so honored to have captured sweet Gemma’s birth, it was a photographer’s dream come true.
I got to meet up with them for ms gemma’s sweet newborn session a few weeks after the birth, It was important to Sarah to capture as early as possible because babies change at seconds speed (:P), Ok not really but honestly sometimes I would wake up and realize that my baby was changing day to day.
For her session, we put a focus on that wonderful first bath, time with her adorable big brother and overall just capturing the little details and moments as a family of four. I hope I get to see ms gemma again I can’t even imagine how adorable she’s gotten.

New life near the holidays.
I photographed this sweet little family right before Christmas. They were so gracious and inviting. Meeting new parents always takes me back to my own experiences. Baby W is the luckiest little dude. His parent gushed on him the whole time. My favorite part was getting the first baby, their pup, more willing to be near the baby. I think he was feeling protective since a new human was there. Anyway I’m glad he was all over the baby as well. Their beautiful home not only served as a wonderful backdrop for all the love but it was cozy and in between such a cute town. Take a peek at their session
In the baby’s room
The city lights are
In the curtains…
Gentle as rain,
Quiet as snowflakes”
My excitement has not worn off yet.
I got a text on that Friday, at around 3 ish after a whole week of uncertainty and lack of sleep. I was worried like crazy that I would sleep through it. I’m guessing that its normal for birth photographers to feel like that. This was the first birth I’ve ever photographed, and I got so incredibly lucky with the beautiful souls that chose me as their photographer. I cannot even adequately enough state how much love an devotion was felt inside that room, as I saw Jason be the most supportive partner to Sarah, as she worked hard to bring their baby earthside.
I have to mention that only dad and big brother knew the sex at that point. Big brother was busy telling everyone the opposite sex and it was hilarious. He was present at the birth of his sister and was able to see first hand how strong of a mother he has. When Sarah took a peek at the sex she was elated to find out that it was, in fact, a girl.
I hope you enjoy this gallery. It has to be a new favorite if mine. Welcome baby Gemma, she was close to 10 lbs of perfection and already so loved.

And along came this sweet boy. Baby H.
I cannot tell you how so very beautiful it is to see a family grow. From the moment I stepped inside their home, you just knew love was a little bit stronger. They gushed and swooned over their new baby boy. You can’t blame them, just look at that gorgeous profile. He slept almost the whole time, and rewarded our photo taking with a bit of pee on his parents covers.
I got to interact with this beautiful family once more, and hopefully I get to again.
or Sprinkles as she was so uniquely nicknamed during her mama’s pregnancy. She was welcomed into this world by a beautiful family. Her brother Miles and bis sister Sophie just adore her. As I approached the door, I was welcomed by my great friend Christine, who immediately apologized by her lack of outdoor house numbers that had me guessing where she lived. I did manage to find the house, but only because I found big baskets full of gorgeous succulents outside. We have that in common, we both love succulents. Her whole house is full of them in stunning ways, from her tables to the floor. On her walls you can see memories from days that mark their lives, and she so uniquely has a black wall. To say that she loves color is an understatement.
I loved the theme for little Margo’s room, Sprinkles and Narwhals, to commemorate her awesome nickname I assume, and narwhals are just awesome. Of course, She slept the whole time, as I was capturing the world around her. One of my favorite moments was when she pee’d just a minute after her new diaper was on. It was so endearing to see just how Miles and Sophie were smitten with the little one. They were incredibly excited when I asked to see their chickens. We rushed outside and discovered their favorites places. The swing and garden top the list. Sophie gifted me an amazing, big pear that I probably left behind, from a beautiful tree. My whole time with them was an adventure. The love radiated.
I cannot wait to see my photos on their walls. It was truly an honor to be invited inside and get to capture their new adventure as a family of five.
Fresh 48, Sweet baby Kellen.
My first ever fresh session, and I am completely hooked.
Kellen was such a sweetheart. He is the third boy for Michelle, and she still was swooning just as if he was her first. Michelle of course looked stunning. I loved the relaxed setting for these sessions. I know hospitals are a source of anxiety for some. I weirdly love hospitals, I think mainly because my children were born there, and coming back brings back those excited feelings.
