There’s something I love about photographing families right here in my own backyard. As a Forest Park family photographer who actually lives here, I know every good corner of this village. The light on Hannah Avenue in the afternoon, the way the Des Plaines River Trail goes golden in October, the quiet charm of the neighborhoods just off Madison Street.

I’m Adri. I shoot documentary-style which means I’m not going to line you up and ask you to say cheese. I’m going to follow your family, stay out of your way, and catch the stuff that actually matters. The way your kid hangs off your arm. The look between you and your partner when nobody’s watching.

What a Forest Park IL Family Photographer Session Looks Like
Every session starts with a conversation, not a shot list. We’ll talk about your family, your kids’ ages, your vibe, whether you’d rather be at home or outside and build from there. Most Forest Park sessions happen outdoors along the trail, in your front yard, or wandering the neighborhood. In-home sessions are also one of my favorites, especially for newborns and younger babies.
Sessions typically run 60–90 minutes. I don’t rush, and I don’t manufacture moments I wait for them

My Favorite Spots in Forest Park
The Des Plaines River Trail is an easy go-to for families who want that lush, green feel without driving anywhere. The neighborhood streets themselves — especially in spring and fall — give you beautiful light and texture without feeling staged. And if you’ve got a front porch, I will absolutely use it.
Serving Forest Park and the West Suburbs
I’m based right here in Forest Park and serve families throughout the west suburbs and Chicago. I photograph families, newborns, maternity, Fresh 48, birth, and engagements. I’m fully bilingual in English and Spanish and welcome all families warmly, including LGBTQ+ families.
If you’re ready to book or just want to talk through ideas, I’d love to hear from you.
