    Heartfelt Oak Brook Family Portraits

    On this cold, dreary day in Oak Brook, IL, I had the pleasure of photographing a superbly sweet and gorgeous family. Specifically, they absolutely made my job feel effortless because of their natural chemistry. I am a firm believer that the location of a session is always secondary to the connection between the people. Indeed, I think these Oak Brook family portraits prove that loudly.

    Capturing Connection in the Cold

    The fall season comes and goes so quickly in the suburbs as a Chicago Family Photographer. Consequently, I was a bit concerned about the lack of green on the trees during our time together. However, I still believe we managed to capture some stunning, timeless shots. The family was so lovely and clearly head-over-heels in love with their little baby boy. Furthermore, even though he was a bit chilly, he was incredibly sweet and curious about my camera lens.

It was such a joy to see big sister Selah again. Specifically, her curiosity and smiles made the day effortless. Because we had worked together before, she remembered our last session.     Capturing Newborn Moments in Sauk Village

    Furthermore, seeing the love between siblings during an outdoor newborn session is always a highlight. Although Chicago weather can be unpredictable, everything aligned perfectly for this day. Baby Solomon was just as adorable as his older sister. In fact, seeing them together was a total dream.

    Ultimately, these are the memories that celebrate a new chapter of life. This Sauk Village family session reminds me why I love storytelling. The local forest preserves offer a timeless beauty.     As a Chicago Newborn Photographer watching Selah interact with her new brother was precious. She was so protective and gentle, which made for some of my favorite candid shots of the day.
