    Big brother was a bit unsure about the camera at first. However, this is totally normal for toddlers! We used plenty of patience and a few snack breaks to find our groove. Eventually, he showed us his sweet personality. He gave gentle hugs to the baby and played with the puppy. Furthermore, including pets adds a heartwarming layer to the family story.

    As a Chicago birth story photographer, I believe that birth is a peak human experience. I recently documented the Davison family as they welcomed their daughter at Prentice Women’s Hospital. Every birth I attend leaves me with a new sense of strength and joy. Consequently, seeing a birthing human relish in their own power is absolutely incredible.

    The Strength of Labor at Prentice Hospital

    Birth is always a team effort. This beautiful couple worked together with a lovely goal in mind. Specifically, they were ready to meet sweet little Miss A. The funny thing about birth is how unpredictable it can be. For this experience, everything seemed to happen very quickly. However, the pushing phase was a prolonged state for this mama. Furthermore, her absolute grace shone brightly throughout the entire process. As a Chicago birth story photographer, I am constantly amazed by the resilience of women.
