Wilmette IL Newborn Photographer | At-Home Lifestyle Session

Finding a Wilmette IL newborn photographer is a great way to capture your family story. Specifically, I love to document the quiet warmth of a new home. Recently, I met Baby Hunter for a beautiful session. First, I noticed how the sun filled every room. Because the light was so bright, the images feel very warm and airy.

Next, this session reminded me of the power of love. The two dads were so happy with their new baby boy. Interestingly, a family member helped bring Hunter into this world. Consequently, this story is a beautiful example of how people show up for each other. In fact, family is the greatest story we can tell.

Additionally, the session was very easy and relaxed. I saw so much love in every corner of the house. Furthermore, the walls were full of art and old photos. Therefore, we now have new memories to add to that collection. Because the family was so kind, every moment felt very natural.

Why Hire a Wilmette IL Newborn Photographer?

Furthermore, there are many reasons to choose an at-home Wilmette IL newborn photographer. First, you have total comfort. You have everything you need for the baby right there. Second, your home is a personal backdrop. Therefore, your photos will feel more real as time goes by. In addition, the light in Wilmette homes is often very soft. Specifically, I look for large windows to find the best glow for your portraits. Being a Chicago Newborn Photographer and making sure I am loud of being inclusive is so important to me.

At Home with the Chelebek Family

Choosing an at home family photographer in Evanston means letting go of perfection. Often, we feel pressure to present a curated version of our lives. However, there is so much beauty in the unscripted moments. This early morning session reminded me that the best memories aren’t planned. Instead, they simply happen in the quiet corners of our own homes.

Life is beautiful chaos. Consequently, I choose to embrace it in my work. These sessions are for families who want to remember the “right now.” For instance, we didn’t worry about tidy rooms during this shoot. We spent the morning in a treehouse. We sang until everyone was breathless with laughter. As a result, the photos feel honest.

Why Hire an At Home Family Photographer in Evanston?

There is a specific kind of magic in the mundane. When I look at these images of the Chelebek family, I don’t just see a photo session; I see the way a house becomes a home. It’s in the messy piles of books and the way the light filters through the windows in the early morning. As an at home family photographer in Evanston, my goal is to make sure you don’t forget these small, quiet details that make up your ‘right now.’

We often think we need to go somewhere grand for photos, but your sanctuary is usually the best backdrop. It’s where your kids feel safe to be wild, and where you feel safe to be yourself. These are the moments that will matter most in ten years—the way they climbed on the furniture or the specific way you held them on the rug.

A playful scene in a cozy bedroom with a young girl jumping on a bed, a dog nearby, and a man holding a child upside down while a woman looks on, all smiling.

Furthermore, I’ve realized that kids are most themselves in their own element. In addition to their own toys, they have the freedom to just be. Specifically, I loved capturing the raw connection between these two sisters. Ultimately, the goal isn’t a perfect pose. It is about documenting the messy reality of your family’s love. Therefore, I am grateful to capture these stories. Don’t forget to check out my Chicago Family Photographer portfolio.

Lifestyle Newborn Photography in Aurora, IL

The newborn session of a beautiful baby boy in Aurora, IL, was truly special. As a newborn photographer in Aurora, IL, I get to witness families grow, but I cannot believe the Lundes are now a family of seven! Just two weeks after visiting this stunning home to welcome Finnian for his birth, I returned to capture the family a little more relaxed and settled into a routine.

A cozy room with children; one toddler is lying in a crib, hiding under a blanket, while three others explore around a dresser in the background.

Well, a “sorta” routine. I know the Lundes are very intentional, slowly paced people. While newborn sessions can be hectic—and even a little wild—we always manage to capture the beauty of it all. These boys are so lovely and always eager to show me their personalities. We’ve worked together enough now that I think they trust me to just “be.” They know I’m there to capture them as they are, without pushing for more than they can do. I always strive to be patient, letting moments unfold and staying ready to roll with the beauty of childhood.

What to Expect from an Aurora IL Newborn Photographer

Many parents ask what a session with a newborn photographer in Aurora, IL looks like when there are older siblings involved. My approach is always documentary-style. Instead of stiff poses, we focus on the connection. Whether it’s the boys peering into the crib or Kayla nursing quietly, these are the moments that define your “new normal.”

But back to this sweet little baby! How absolutely gorgeous does Kayla look? She was radiant when I arrived. Our lives are both so busy, and though we couldn’t be more different, we’ve always been able to flourish in friendship. She and Patrick are doing a phenomenal job raising kind-hearted, smart, and inquisitive boys.

Capturing the Beauty of a Large Family

Little Finnian, who looks like a perfect combination of Owen and Griffin, was the sweetest little thing. I think he’s going to add a bit of calmness to the bunch. But we’ll see—chaos is always acceptable, especially when it’s in front of my lens! If you are looking for a Chicago newborn photographer in Aurora, IL who embraces the “beautiful chaos” of a large family, I would love to tell your story.
