Some weddings just feel different. and this St. Pius V wedding, from the very first moment inside the historic church, was pure heart.
Estephanie & Fernando kept their day intimate, which made every single moment feel even more tender. Their daughters were right there with them through the ceremony. It was honestly one of the sweetest, most emotional services I’ve had the privilege of photographing. No performance, no forced poses. Just two people, their girls, together with their families. Fully present with each other. That kind of honesty is exactly what I chase behind the camera, and this St. Pius V wedding gave me all of it, from quiet glances to full-on happy tears.
Leaving the St. Pius V Wedding in Style
From the church, the newlyweds made their exit in true style. Climbing into a beautiful vintage rental car that carried them off toward the next chapter of the night. There’s something about an old-school car pulling away from a church that just feels like a movie moment, and this one delivered.
The Reception: Mariachi, Tradition, and So Much Joy
The celebration continued at Di’Vino Restaurant & Bar in Forest Park, and the reception turned into an absolute party. Mariachi filled the room from wall to wall, the drinks and traditions flowed all night, and the laughter never let up. If you’ve ever been to a Mexican wedding reception, you already know the feeling — the warmth, the generosity, the way an entire family pulls you in like you’ve always belonged there. It’s a celebration in the fullest sense of the word, and I felt so fortunate to be tucked into the middle of it, camera in hand, capturing every bit of it.
