    I genuinely wasn’t sure how well this location, family and time would work out. Specifically everyone but the parents were unpredictable. I love the comedy of a puppy, two older sisters and a new baby. Thankfully my clients parent similarly to me, we let the chaos unfold, we cherish the moments of true childhood. I captured this beautiful boy’s birth at the burr ridge birth center.

    A childhood that feel so genuine, that is the type of family moments I love to capture. If there was something I could have shot more from this session, it would prob be a few more close up details. Otherwise this was a perfect session, the golden sun, the outfits and the moments. Which make everything to lovely when it all comes together. I am so glad I had a bunch of littles who just worked so well and went along with the beauty of the session.

    A Session Close to My Heart

    What a stunning Light-Filled Newborn Photography session this was. Every newborn session is special, but this one tugged at my heartstrings even more. As a Chicago newborn photographer, I usually spend my days photographing families right here in the Midwest. But this time, I had the joy of capturing my very own nephew during a family visit to Fresno, California. Being able to photograph the people I love most is a gift I’ll never take for granted.

    The morning of our session was dreamy full of golden light streaming into my brother and sister-in-law’s cozy home. My niece (a total Disney lover at heart) kept us all laughing with her songs, twirls, and endless chatter.     This session as a Wilmette At-Home Newborn Session, was incredibly special. On a beautiful sunny morning, I documented a new family. They were welcoming their little one into the world. The light poured softly through the windows. It wrapped the family in warmth and gave us a perfect setting. Because of this, we captured natural and timeless photographs.

This fluffy white dog clearly wanted to be part of the experience. Although I tried to stay focused on my camera, I couldn’t help but smile at such a sweet companion.
