Chicago Courthouse Wedding: A Witness to Love
A Chicago Courthouse Wedding is proof that love doesn’t need a grand stage to be deeply felt. Love, oh love—you are my greatest mystery. I feel like I’ve been running toward it and away from it my whole life. Indeed, watching the people I care about fall into love, marry, and start families is absolutely beautiful. I am learning to pay attention to how they are loved and, moreover, how they love in return. Being a witness to love is something different. Of course, this job gives me first dibs on these moments all the time, and it certainly has its perks.

Documenting My Sibling’s Chicago Courthouse Wedding
Kae and Jordan recently began their story together. Specifically, Kae is my youngest sibling. They have watched me struggle through love, and I have watched them as well. We come from the same story, them and I. Even though I am just starting my own journey of self-love, they seem to have so much more experience with it, despite being eight years younger.
Because of their deep connection, photographing their Chicago Courthouse Wedding felt like more than just a job. It felt like a gift. Consequently, I found myself focusing on the tiny, shaky exhales and the way they held onto one another. Furthermore, seeing my own family find their “safe place” in another person is a visual legacy I will cherish forever. Being a sibling for people celebration their love as a Chicago Wedding Photographer is amazing, to get to capture my families expression of love.

The Tenderness of a Courthouse Story
I want to wish Kae and Jordan a lifetime of feeling seen, loved, and understood. Specifically, I wish them growth and a constant sense of tenderness. I have no advice to give, because the only thing I truly know is that I know nothing. However, I am so excited to welcome Jordan into our lives. He is so kind and loves Kae extremely well. In conclusion, cheers to mofo LOVE.
