Where I Love to Shoot as a Streeterville Chicago Photographer
The lakefront path along Olive Park is one of my favorite spots in all of Chicago the views back toward the skyline are unreal, and the park itself has a quiet, unhurried quality that’s rare this close to the Mag Mile. Navy Pier offers something completely different color, movement, energy. The DuSable Lakefront Trail running south gives you skyline views and lakefront access in a single stretch. And for families who live here, an in-home session in a high-rise with city views is something I always jump at.
Local Outlines: Streeterville at a Glance
Streeterville is a Near North Side neighborhood occupying a thin strip of land between Michigan Avenue and Lake Michigan, north of the Chicago River. It’s home to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and some of the most dramatic urban lakefront scenery in the city. Despite its density and pace. it has genuine green space, particularly along the lakefront. For this reason, that makes it more photographically versatile than most people realize.
